The Basics
My name is Krista Engler and I’m obsessed with creating modern, clean and inviting designs. I have been working as an Interactive Designer and Developer for the past four years while also penning my own blog. It’s a mixture of design, art, color, and music inspiration as well as a place for me to share sketches and early work. I have a BFA in Graphic Design from Appalachian State University. I currently reside in Charlotte, NC with my husband Chris and our two furr-children—a black and white kitty named A.K. and a corgi named Mika.
Hobbies and Beyond
I love music. My favorite bands are The Love Language, The Misfits, The Beach Boys, and Radiohead, just to name a few. The beach is where my heart is. I love marine animals, particularly members of the cephalopod family. I play way too many video games. I’m fascinated by space, thanks in part to Carl Sagan. I enjoy photography, big hugs, smiling faces, cat naps and hunting for vintage cameras to add to my collection.
